1. Introduction

Welcome to UrbanPulse: Accra City App ("we," "us," "our," "the App"). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the UrbanPulse mobile application and related services.

2. Account Registration

2.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or legal guardian's permission.

2.2 Account Security

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information
You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your account
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
You are responsible for all activities under your account

3. Use of Services

3.1 Permitted Use

Discover and browse events and venues in Accra
Create and manage events (for organizers)
Purchase event tickets
Participate in the community feed
Use the referral program to invite friends

3.2 Prohibited Activities

Violate any laws or regulations
Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
Harass, threaten, or harm other users
Distribute spam, malware, or viruses
Create fake accounts or engage in fraudulent activity
Manipulate the referral program or points system

4. Events & Ticketing

4.1 Event Listings

Event organizers are responsible for accuracy of event information
We do not guarantee the occurrence or quality of events
Event details are subject to change by organizers

4.2 Refunds

Refund policies are set by individual event organizers
In case of event cancellation, you will receive a full refund
Refunds typically take 5-10 business days to process

5. Referral Program

You receive 25 points for each successful referral
Referrals must be new users who have never registered
Self-referrals and fraudulent referrals are prohibited
Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred

6. Privacy & Data Protection

We comply with the Ghana Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). See our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

7. Disclaimers

IMPORTANT: The Services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Accra, Ghana.
